Those who follow my social media already know my short story, “The Fewer the Better Fare,” will be published in Literally Dead 2: Tales of Holiday Hauntings, edited by Gaby Triana and John Palisano. Why haven’t I posted this on my website until today? That’s genuinely a mystery, because I haven’t been able to STFU about it outside of here.

I’m still in disbelief to see my name beside so many revered authors, many of whom have been longtime personal favorites (Including the editor, Gaby Triana, who’s excellent story “Don’t You See That Cat?” I read two years ago on the sales floor at work. I admittedly should have been helping customers, but I couldn’t put it down. I also needed a break from telling every idiot who waddled into the store like a sentient Weeble Wobble to please, for the love of Christ, put your mf’n mask on.)

Many thanks to Alienhead Entertainment & Press for taking a chance on my work and being so kind throughout the process. It’s a privilege to share a space with so many talented writers, which is something I’m just now getting comfortable calling myself without feeling weird about it. For a long time, it was just vibes and imposter syndrome.
